AVAION has been removed from multiple festival lineups in the wake of serious abuse allegations levelled by his former partner. Notably, organisers of Electric Love in Austria and Open Air Gampel in Switzerland have both pulled the German DJ from their 2026 schedules.
The removals follow a public statement posted by AVAION’s ex-partner. Meanwhile, the post detailed allegations of physical violence, sexual coercion and psychological manipulation across what she described as a five-year relationship beginning in 2021. The post included reference to a video described as containing hundreds of clips of evidence.
Electric Love acted quickly. Crucially, the festival removed AVAION from its 2026 lineup within 24 hours of the allegations going public. Furthermore, Open Air Gampel followed shortly after, taking AVAION off its four-day Swiss programme.
His agency District Live has also cancelled his entire tour. Equally, the booking agency moved to suspend all confirmed dates as the situation developed. The agency action effectively halted AVAION’s live activity for the remainder of the year.
The artist has not yet issued a public response to the specific allegations. Still, AVAION has indicated through social media that he intends to pursue legal action. He appears to have deleted his official TikTok account.
The case sits inside a wider conversation that has been growing across the European electronic music scene. In short, recent months have seen multiple artists removed from festival lineups following separate misconduct allegations across the techno and hard dance worlds.
Festival organisers and booking agencies have moved faster than in previous cycles. Moreover, the speed of the Electric Love and Open Air Gampel decisions reflects an industry shift toward zero-tolerance responses.
The wider scene continues to discuss accountability frameworks, victim support and how to handle ongoing allegations in real time. The conversation is far from resolved.
Finally, the AVAION situation continues to develop. The next steps depend on the legal process and the artist’s own response in the coming weeks.
